Broke Residential demand by changing Demand Created

    Hoping someone can help with a problem I'm having with editing demand for an airport. 

    I was really tired of building big airports and seeing almost no traffic impact so I used the SC4 Tool to change the Demand Created property. I set the values really high, which worked wonders - my buses, trains and roads ground to a halt with congestion!

    This worked trouble free for a day, but then I decided to renovate my airport. As soon as I deleted the terminal (the building where I changed the Demand Created field) my RCI demand feel extremenly negative. 

    I've since done a few tests and here's what I've found. If I start a new city with 1 Residential square and my terminal (Demand Created entries: R$ 5000, Jobs $ 5000) I have no extra demand and a very low population. However, as soon as I delete the terminal the RCI demand for R$ drops to -6000 and never really  goes away.

    I think I pretty much destroyed my city as I now have permanent -160,000 R$$$ demand, but I really want to get traffic in airports to work so I was hoping someone might be able to explain what's going on.
