Highways only go straight into other cities

Hi

I was just wondering if highways can go into other cities diagonally.  Because I have a straight highway running through my city but when i'm building it i can't seem to go into another city diagonally, so i'm stuck with a striaght highway going nowwhere!

Unfortunately, while all network types can be laid diagonally in a city (with the NAM), Neighbor Connections must be made straight.

not neccesarily, you can make diagonal neighbour connections with roads, rail, etc

Just ran a test in my sandbox on each of:  Road, Rail, Monorail, Elevated Rail and Subway.

Each was allowed off the source city at a diagonal.  The image in the destination city is straight from the edge.

The indication is that only the connection type and location is kept/transmitted to the other city and a canned image is used.

So you are both partially right on standard stuff.
