  • Hamline University, St. Paul, MN Located in the Midway community (which is cleverly named due to its location midway between the two downtowns of the Twin Cities which are roughly 5 miles in either direction). Hamline is the oldest University in the state of Minnesota (even though the U of M was the first chartered, Hamline was the first to actually accept students).
  • Total Student Population (including Grad, Law, and Undergrad)= 4,000
  • Old Main: On the U.S. National Registry of Historic Buildings, this is the main administrative building and it used to encompass the entire campus (over a century ago). snow34vu.jpg
  • Klas Center: One of our Athletic centers (although clearly not in use at the moment 4.gif ) Interesting side note. The guy who donated some 6 million dollars to this establishment was my uncles roommates father. I wish he gave me money to go to school but I guess my uncle doesn't have that type of clout. The statue of the dude in front is Bishop Leonidas Hamline who donated the money to found the school. snow40lu.jpg
  • Drew Residence Hall: This is one of the 6 dorms on campus and houses non-Freshman, theme housing and GBLT community members.snow24ze.jpg

The University of Texas at Austin.

UT was founded in 1883, currently has just under 50,000 students, and almost a half million living alumni.

Since I really love the campus and the interesting architecture of many of the buildings, I'll just flood you with pictures so you can see what I mean.

    Enjoy!

MLK Jr. Statue (we have a boat-load of statues around campus)

And so I'm not decieving anyone, UT has its share of ugly buildings also, but those are boring. But for a public university, I thing UT has a very beautiful campus.

If anyone was curious, I'm studying Civil Engineering (with an emphasis in Transportation Engineering).
