That Landscape Designer is great, and it works well at generating random Regions, but is there any way to adjust the Max Height above 255? I loaded a Lanscape-Designer-made region, and found that the max height of the Designer is one-fourth the max allowable height in God Mode. So I was a bit disappointed when I thought I had made the Rockies but instead made the Plains. Any ideas?

The Terrain Generator on the official site is an applet only. It allows you to generate terrain one city tile at a time. As such it is quite limited. You're better off using the Landscape Designer.
