Quick question - how do I change the time that is displayed on the forums? It's telling me that it's 10:25 am (which I assume is American time), when here in the UK it's actually 3:25.

Also, wouldn't it be a good idea if there was a general 'quick questions' sticky topic, so newbies like me don't have to make new threads like this which only take up space. Of course, there may well already be a topic like that - I just haven't found it yet!

There isn't a way to change the time I'm afraid. The time shown is the time where the website is based (Canada) and we can't change that. Sorry.

The time is set on Eastern time which is GMT -5 I think...The time is also known here on the site as ST time, and makes scheduling, as well as what is considered today much easier for everyone. The time zone cannot be changed.
