Hey riverwoodssjc, and welcome to Simtropolis!

The Omnibus has some good tips on building cities and running SC4 as fast as possible.

The forums are a good place to find out some stuff, look at City Journals, and... stuff.

The Modding Files section has some good stuff to *ahem* enhance your gameplay. (The NAM is the one you REALLY need! )

And be sure to look at the STEX , it's much better here in my opinion.
