Material Navigator is Driving me Insane!!!!!!!!

Please!!!!!    I'm trying to get my building to be colored.

When I select the material, it doesn't open the Material Navigator.
So, I open it manually, and then when I open my (.tga), it doesn't let me apply it.
PLEASE, HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!26.gif26.gif26.gif26.gif26.gif32.gif32.gif32.gif

On the material editor select New and a single texture. Open the navigator and your texture and drag the texture into the grey sphere in the material editor.

Did you run Phillipbo's tutorial? There is a section on that in there.

I know how frustrating it can be not to get things to work the way they should. But You need to be more specific about your problem if you not already have solved it.

If You have made a material in the material editor You should only have to drag it from the sample pic in the editor and drop it on the object in the scene. Cant You do ths or do you have a problem creating a material in the editor (like loading the bitmap?)

    Look its like this file that's attached.

    Just delete the file when you're done.

    The texture, when it's loaded to the Material Navigator Window, it doesn't look at all like a textured sphere.  Its just a texture.  If you know what's going on, or even if you don't know, get me through STEP BY STEP, everything in detail.
