4gb patch not working

everytime I run the 4gb patch  and try to open the .exe file that it leaves behind I get a virus warning from windows regarding a "VirTool:Win32/Obfuscator.au" shortly after the simcity4.exe file on wich the patch is applied always gets deleted

This problem only manifests itself in pirated copies of SimCity 4 that use the NO CD crack. My advice is to buy SC4 on Steam or GOG
