-Spader-, whoa, dude.

Chill out.

Just because you can post in really big annoying font sizes...

...doesn't mean you should.  We'll listen to what you have to say- no need to shout and wave your arms, too.

Just sayin'.

I'm sorry about that . . . I was extremely frustrated and unhappy. I won't do that again.

Anyway, I think I was downloading the wrong files.

Also, How can I make an avenue overpass??  All of mine turn out like this:

Well, you need the NAM. Then you need to select the elevated-avenue puzzle pieces tool from the roads menu. Hit TAB until you get to "Avenue on slope." Use the "Avenue on Slope" with the first "Avenue over ground highway" to make a smooth overpass. You can find more tutorials on stnam.com.

I have a question for you guys but I don't know if it belongs here. I reinstalled my Sim City and I copied all my backuped plugins back to their original place. I am sure the correction for the corner slopes is installed in the correct folder but still I get some bad side slopes. What's up with this? I will post a pic here just to ilustrate what I am talking about.

I am really really confused..when i click on the straight pieces that say 1x, what actually appears is a green patch identical to the surrounding terrain. must the walls be placed before the highway? or after? or am i doing something wrong?

    Cheers!

Edit: hmmm it seems every single piece that i place appears identical to surrounding terrain. i must be missing some texture file. hmm? New question: how do you get those highway on/off ramps that were in jeronij's tutorial? the ones in the NAM? placing them just causes the terrain around the highway to sink so there isn't a nice sunken highway effect anymore

Kenkoo1987, make sure you have installed the props and textures needed for the walls.

Those highway ramps are included in the NAM. I think it is the second to last icon in the highway menu. Use TAB to circle between the different ramps options.

well I checked the props download, the textures download, and the wall download itself. I could not find a readme for this mod. The install takes you to this thread which has a readme on it, however I find it to be wrong. When trying to put the wall under the Road Bridge T segment doing what you show does not give that result. and where I put the tile (right where it shows) there's a wall texture. There is no texture under the bridge. The closest I can come is using the slope with road piece, however this messes up the nice turn lanes I downloaded the NAM for. Any Advice?

Hi Shaunathan, not sure why you are having those problems. I think I made some slight changes to the definitive version of the walls, which is not perfectly explained in the readme ( page 3 in this thread). Not sure though, it was a long time ago.

I will check how to place those ones later on at home tonight. I´ll tell you something.

EDIT: I think the solution is placing the lots the same way like Buddybud´s version, On the hillside, touching the bridge and not as shown in the readme/tutorial

Anyway a pic would help to understand better the situation

Alright I took some snap shots, thank you very much for helping with this by the way Jeronji.

    St-1.jpg

the above pic is when I try to use the slope tool that is TE-R.  As you can see it puts the wall under the bridge properly, however it shows a normal street on my beautiful NAM streets with turn lanes, and destroys that whole turn lane feel.

    St.jpg

This second one is using the normal on slope "double" tool. I placed it right next to the bridge, this was the result. As stated above I did download the prop and the texture downloads and had them installed. When I use the method you talk about in your tutorial, I get this result below:

    St-2.jpg

    Hope you can help!

I see now. The problem is that the highway is not sunken enough. As seen in pic 2, only the upper part of the walls can be seen. The rest is sunken in the hillside. The slope should be more step. As stated in the STEX description: "The under ramps (aka underbridge 3X) pieces for sunken highways have been tested with Smoncrie

I have a question.  Please forgive me if I have not posted it in the correct thread...

I recently uploaded BSC Texturs vol 1, 2, and 3.  My highway walls have disappeared, and only the fences are visible.  Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Ok, l have the following mod and 2 support files downloaded and installed:

    Install_Jeronij_Concrete_Diagonal_Walls_V2_Revised.zip

Install BSC Jeronij Textures Vol01 Walls.zip

    Install_BSC_Props_Jeronij_Vol_01_Walls.zip

After a bit of playing around, i'm getting the onslope textures to work. 4.gif

However, i've noticed that theres a patch of green between the freeway and the 1x ploppable wall texture. I've also noticed that i only have 8 tiles to plop, and not 9.

    I have the following tiles:

    -1x

    -v1 upper diagonal A

    -v1 upper diagonal A

    -lower diagonal

    -v1 NAM Underbridge x1

    -v2 NAM Undergridge x2

    -v2 Onslope TE Road

    -v2 onslope TE Train

Acording to the tutorial, i'm missing:

    NAM UnderHGW Ramp Piece.

    Any ideas?

PS: THis is a great mod, despite the problems.

Hey guys, I really love this mod but simply cannot get it to work. I've DL'd the NAM and Jeronij's Concrete Diagonal Walls zip but I just cannot find the pieces in game! I'm sure it's my fault and I'm being dumb, any advice?

I got the concrete walls textures, but can someone post the link to the BSC stuff? the ones in Jeronijs readme are...out-of-date.

Sorry for pulling this thread out of the grave but I need some help with these fabulous walls.

How can I put them behind highway intersections and bridges etc. or do I need to download additional stuff for this?

    Oh, first post. Yaaaaaay!

    Hello,

Those lots can not be placed the way you want to :-/ . You may search for Buddybud's versions or for my Walls version 2, which allow this feature but are different textures.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks for your response, I'll see what I can do.

I guess you, jeronij, heard it 1000 times but you're making great plug-ins!
