Hi, I am new to the mac version of Sim City after years of Windows Sim City. Just trashed all my PC's and got an new intel iMac. Sim City Rush Hour runs great on the iMac, but I now want to load regions and lots like I did on my Windows version. Several forum messages refer to the link at: - https://www.simtropolis.com/content.cfm?mode=omnibus&view=168 ...however this link does not work. Could anyone point me in the right direction please. Thanks, Mark

The links for the old Simtropolis are no longer valid. And the Mac Guide is not yet up in the new version. Please be patient. It will be up again in due course. In the meantime, if you have questions, feel free to ask here or send me a PM.

@ markryder: If you still own your old PC you could try to transfer all your SC4- and DAT-files to your Mac. (e.g. using a mobile FAT32 formatted HD or just burn a hybrid CD). Put all DAT-files into the main SC4 PlugIns folder and put all other files (Desc- and Lot-files) into your Users/Documents/SimCity4/PlugIns folder. If don't have your PC anymore or if you didn't make a backup of all your PlugIns I'm afraid you will have to download them again. You can extract SC4-data from EXE-files with FileJuicer. Search the forums for FileJuicer and you will find anything you want to know about it. The only disadvantage using a Mac is that you will have to sort and move the plugins manually. Unfortunately you can't use the comfortable PC installers that come with many downloads.
