Airport Question

    I'm getting the game in a couple of days and I was reading about the airports and I was just wondering since I'm getting the deluxe edition when I get it will I need to install the Joerge patch for better runway textures etc... and 2) do you design everything about it and 3) what is the population range to build my first regional airport?

    Please check out the New Members section in the SimCity 4 forum.  There is a lot of great information over there about this site.
     
    I belive the Joerge patch for better runway textures etc... is an optional patch, I don't think it is required.  Although it probably would make the airport look better.
     
    If I am understanding the second question correctly - If you use the airports that come with the game you don't have to design the airport, just the city and region.  I am not real sure about this, but I believe there are a couple of airport lots on the STEX that you can manipulate somewhat to you liking.  Do not quote me on that.
     
    I don't have the answer to question 3 sorry.
