Right click on the Mac??

Hi, all--

I just was trying a U-Drive it with the fire engine...only I can't get my fire crew to work because I need to be able to right-click to aim the hoses. On the back of the CD there's all the keyboard shortcuts, but they don't seem tailored to Mac. Anyone know what button I should be pushing to simulate a right click? I tried Control and Option but that didn't seem to work.

Help! I gotta put some fires out!

If I can remember, I believe apple + click makes a right click. If that doesn't work, try the control and option keys.

If you buy a Logitech mouse for your Mac (a good idea in any case), you can just literally right-click. No problem.

Thanks everyone! I did see a mini Bluetooth mouse with two buttons and a scroll wheel that looked tempting...I thought it was from Iogear but I could be wrong. But I'll use the keyboard for now. 44.gif

Or you could get the Mighty Mouse, which I believe also has a right click

Mighty Mouse has a scroll wheel, but only one button. Apple seems to stick to its concept.

Have been using control-click for years now, it comes as a second nature. Having a two-button mouse remains the more pleasant option though!

(I have problems with MM in TS2, it keeps scrolling off the page and that's really annoying! Haven't used it in SC4 yet.)

The Mighty Mouse is multi-button. Look at your Keyboard & Mouse preference pane for confirmation.

The Kensington Optical Elite is a great mouse. It has 6 buttons: standard left and right click, plus one on each side of the mouse (great for browsing... I have one for forward and one for back) plus the scroll wheel, which, when pressed, emulates a double click.
Oh. And this is all on a Mac, to boot!

Except for the left and right click functionality, which the Mac recognizes out of the box, you have to load Kensington's control panel to access the other features.
In any case, it is an excellent, reliable mouse, and great for gaming... and quite affordable, too!
