Off of the NJTP's new exit 15X is Secaucus Junction:

and in Newark is Newark Penn Station:

So which is it?

Trivia factoid: The constelations on the ceiling of the main Atrium in Grand Central Station are backwards. The real reason they're backwards: the artist who painted it screwed up. The excuse as to why they're backwards: It's the stars as god sees them.

In reality, most people that go through that station twice a day don't know the constelations are backwards, not having checked or known how they were supposed to be.

Grand Central is a nice station. Penn station is all 60's-modern and icky. They old one they tore down was better.

You know what else is a nice station, though? 30th Street Station in Philadelphia.

I love Paddington as it links me back to my roots in Devon. I also love Bath Spa, Crystal Palace and the former Broad Street sadly demolished. My fav I think would be Shrewsbury and Exeter St. Thomas it has an understated beauty.

Not really my favorite, but the photos from earlier in the thread weren't the most flattering.

Michigan Central Station (Detroit, MI (go figure))

The station was abandoned in the 80s, and the owner is definitely not the type to do anything with it (unless it makes him a bunch of money, which it can't).

It's probably the most explored and well known abandoned buildings in Detroit.

I didn't post any interior shots, but it's the usual huge elaborate lobby spaces that you would expect from these sorts of things.

I very much like Stockholm C, probably because its the only major station I use frequently...

It (together with Cityterminalen and T-centralen) connects domestic and international trains with all seven subway lines, the two major commuter train lines, the airport express train, inner city buses and domestic and international buses.

it includes a royal hall where the Swedish royal family waits for their train.

It was built 1867-1871 but has been rebuilt several times, today it has 19 platforms (original only 5) and is the busiest station in sweden with 250 000 passengers per day.
