Unexpected side effect, Modern waste to enery plant

I downloaded SimGoober's modern waste to energy plant a couple of days ago, also the two necessary antecedent BSC mods he or she recommended.  It seems to work fine (thanks SimGoober) except that now whenever I interrogate an OLD Maxis supplied WEP I don't get the usual info but instead:

BSC Antivirus

 Bogus Alert

 Unworthy Lot

 BSC certification has failed on this lot.

 It has been deemed unworthy ......

 

and so on (some of it rather amusing.)

When I interogate a SimGoober WEP everything works normally. and the above problem comes and goes as the SimGoober WEP (but not the BSC mods) is installed and uninstalled to plugings.

 

Is this expected behaviour, or has something gone wrong?

I can't find any metion of BSC Antivirus etc. on the board - does it exist?

 thous guy are into changing the info that pops up when you click on a lot.

   kinda like the nonsenc that goes right as you creat a new reagion .

  you know installing lamas ,umm stuff like that . BSC and simgobber  both love to change the quiry sounds and statments .

Thanks.  Sounds like it's just the way it works.  I suppose could be a fair assumption that once you've got the new one you don't need the old one to work properly any more.   But what about regions you created before you got the new one?

I suggest you read the description and Readme carefully.

Also included is an enhanced query for the default plant. This can be removed if desired.

Enhanced? ...... Yes, well.  I suppose they will have their little jokes.  Rather a good one though.  At least it gave me the prod to emerge from the lurkers onto the board.

 

In case there are more bunnies like me out there, you have to go to plugins\SimGoober\Untitlitie\Waste to energy and remove a couple of .dat files featuring the string Bogus in their names.  Everything then seems to work fine.  But don't do it until you've tried the enhanced query - it's worth a look.

I just saw this as well. Was quite surprised and that kind of joke is not my type. Luckily the bogus message can be removed, otherwise the modern plant would have to be reevaluated to stay installed or not.
