I can only help if you are using imageshack to host your images off site.  That is the only way I know how to do it.  In Imageshack once you have uploaded your image to their site you are taken to a new page that has a list of  4 or 5 web address starting with HTTP://.  These are in text boxes so you can highlight and copy to the clipboard.  Use the last address they give you.  I belive it is called a direct link.  Highlight the whole address, right click, click on copy.  Go to your post click on the add picture icon, in the section that says insert image you will see a text box with URL to the left of it.  Right click in that text box and click on paste, then click on insert.

That is how I do it with image shack.  If that don't work or if you use another site to host your images then I'm sorry I can't help.

BTW  Image shack is a free site.

Personally, I use  imgcity.net to host my pictures, but the process works the same way.

Here's how I do it.
  • Go to IMGcity and click on the Browse  button to navigate to the site
  • When you get select the file to upload, click on the Upload button
  • After your image is uploaded, double-click on the top URL that is provided
  • Press Ctrl+C to copy the link
  • Return to your post and click on the Insert Image button
  • In the section that is titled Insert Image paste the link in the field that is titled URL
  • Click on the Insert button and you are done

What they said. 2.gif I tend to use ImageShack because it seems more reliable to me. But any image hosted on a website will work. And no, you don't have to include by Imageshack unless the image was actually from ImageShack.

    Hope it helps.

I still use photobucket, but it will automaticly re-size your pictures if they're too big.

Image shack is really good for pics that you don't want re-sized, but displayed as a thumbnail. It also is quite good for the smaller pics that you want to show regular-size (but within forum pic-posting rules/ettiquitte) too. 1.gif

Imageshack now has the power to resize pictures for you as well.
