Sunken Roads/Highways/Rail

Is there a tutorial on making sunken roads/highways and rail?  I've read bits and pieces but I can't find information to get started.

 

Any help on this subject would be appreciated.

Thanks for the tuturial.  I have the NAM installed and I just installed the walls you suggested, but the link to the GLR MOd is bad.  I can'f find it on the STEX either.  Do you know where to get it currently? And what will it do for me?

The GLR mod is included in the Network Addon Mod, which you can find in the Modding Files section.
