Cities: Skylines :- A monumental expansion

 

Hey guys, This is a thread for my expansion on unique buildings within Cities: skylines. The goal is to give each tier +1 unique building I-VI. After I have finished this project I will be looking into either more unique buildings or adding alternatives to things such as schools etc with varied statistics.

This is a tier 1 monument. 

The hollywood sign will bring in a good mix of tourists, only slightly favouring the lower and middle classes. Good for glamouring up your hills and distant views!

 This is a tier 2 monument. 

This stucture has a small tendancy to catch fire, but on the plus side has great tourism bonus' to the lower and middle classes...upper, not so much (snouty face).

There was once talk amongst the city folk, as to what, who and why they can build their structures, whilst also seemingly be destroyed on an almost whimsical note. That being said, they all forgot about this once the great disc fell from the sky, thus distracting the population to meer mediocrity again.

This is a tier 3 monument. 

This structure is very attractive to the wealthy tourists and has relatively low maintanence. This structure requires a few workers from uneducated, for clearing litter to the highly educated to guide tourists and give them facts about the structure so make sure your city has good infastructure!

Burj Al Arab

This is a tier 6 monument. 

This outstanding structure is the ultimate hotel. Rated at 7 stars, any guest here will be a high roller, with the occassional low income family able to raise the money to stay at this grandeous location. Be wary to have good infastructure to accomodate the workers for this building as it will require all the classes from uneducated, to highly educated staff.

Big Ben looks really sweet, good detailing. I wish Burj Al Arab was this accurate, though.

The Burj Al Arab was half design choice and half poor reference. I just could not seem to find any representitive information so had to resort to pictures, lots of pictures!

Got some more of the texturing done for big ben, scale is not correct, that will change when I get round to it. Should get this finished in 1-2days when I have time off work.
