So i don't know what the plan really is for my Cj just felt like trying it out, so i downloaded FrontierLand from the ST/Ex, and started a island nation. the first thing i did was modifying the Config file, it was four large city tiles, which i dont like, i like to create feeder cities for trash burning and Dirty industry. so far there is "Venes" the capital city, "JunkTown" The first feeder for land fills / trash burners / dirty industry and "Klamath", on the other side of the mountain range, it is primarily a farming town. and yes, i am planning on basing all of the names except the capital on towns or places from the Fallout series. Picture time.

From Humble Beginnings a new nation will rise, the Sims will unite under one banner for the greater good of all Sim nation.
the sims on this island have been cut off from the rest of the sim planet for over a hundred years, and are finally catching up in technology, soon we will see airports and sea ports, and who knows, maybe even a space sport in a few hundred Sim Years.

Its slow going in the begining, some genious decided Little round pebbles from the mines in the mountains would make a great currency, so the town started in debt, a 5,000 Pebble Loan, at a rate of 61Pb/Mnth for 10 years. but the town still grows regardless.

Finally technology is beginning to catch up with the rest of the sim world, and the sims of the island have built there first high tech industry in 2046.

On the other side of the mountain the town of Klamath grows, and they grow all the food for the island, (I plan on installing that one farm mod at some point, SPAM was it?) Again they grew slowly from a debt of 5,000 pebbles at 61Pb/Mnth for 10 years. but they grew fast, as farm land is so vital to the survival of the communities on the island.

And this is where i leave this entry, with an overview of the island nation.

I played a little earlier today and my focus was on Klamath, the farm town. so i have some pictures (And a little more goofy story stuff)

Ms. Simis-Farmington owns this entire island, she doesn't let anyone on the island other than the workers at the seaport and the people who tend her farms, shes a really hardnose when it comes to counting her pebbles too, however without a strong police force their is noone to find her curruption, she may be planning a deal with a certain evil sim?

The farms seen here on the left side of the screen are owned jointly by the Legion of United Farming sims, (LUFS) They are trying to loosen Ms Simis-Farmington's grip on the regions food supply, with Ms.Simis holding control of the majority of the food hunger is rampent in the lower income parts of the region.

Interesting layout of the farm on the far left of the first picture.  I see you've already adopted SPAM, a must-have in my opinion.  There are some BSC farms that'll behave alongside it as well, but they tend to be a little messier to get set up.

The only other things I might suggest are a network slope mod and there are other "slope" mods out there that help remove all those retaining walls from the RCI lots.  Also make use of [Ctrl] + clicking when laying out lots on slopes.  Taken together, those can make for a much smoother appearance while still allowing you to keep the vanilla look and feel.

Correlation doesn't imply causation, but it does waggle its eyebrows suggestively and gesture furtively while mouthing 'look over there'. - xkcd.com
