Road Capacities

    Is there any mod available or possible that allows street, road, avenue, and highway capacities to be increase and/or doubled? Has anyone ever attempted this before? The biggest issue I have is that i build a small subdivision, and I want a street heirarchy, but when it gets to a certain size, the roads leading out of the subdivision are all yellow and red. I think it is unrealistic to have so many roads in a city, when they should only be used for through routes and proper roads, not residential streets.
