What's wrong with just downloading the mod, unzipping it into your plugins folder, and starting up the game to see for yourself what it looks like? Don't be afraid to try new things; don't worry so much about messing things up. Just try this mod in the game, and if you don't like it, get rid of it!

Hahaha dudes, you misunderstood, or I did not explain correctly. Thing is I screwed my laptop days ago because it fell from about 1 meter. So I'm basically pre-learning about SC4 before the laptop arrives in more or less one week. Also I didn't know much about SC4 before december.

Thanks for the clarification.  I guess laptops are not as rugged as they used to be.  When I had one, I dropped it several times without any ill effects.
