 How can i change the name or descriptionof a Building?

Another thing:

{

            "instanceID": 85,
            "left": -11,
            "top": -15,
            "width": 110,
            "height": 12,
            "controlID": 247938271,
            "ignoreMouse": true,
            "comment": "Cimres Attempted #",
            "type": "cText",
            "textStyle": "Header_11_Center_Lower",
            "localeString": {
                "tableID": "PaletteInfoPanel.json",
                "stringID": "0x0ee80dc7"
}

Why got the TableID a name instead of its instance id, is there any index for json files?

Would be nice if this goes under Modding Discussion Section.

Lesson 1 :Lets Start

  • Open SCP
  • Open File > C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityData\Locale\en-us\Data.package
  • Find AgentQuery (0x2da174c0) and Export to Package
  • File > Open the Exported package.
  • Right click "Edit TGi Information" and change its "Instance ID" to any number you want

Replace to Context into

{
    "0x00000001": "Text 1",
    "0x00000002": "Text 2",
    "0x00000003": "Text 3"
}

Lesson 2 : I assume you know how to import the json into the same package (with the menu) as one package file. Once you did that.

  1. Go to menu2 properties.
  2. Find "ecoGameToolName [0]"
  3. If its not there "Add Property" > Property : 0x0A09F5FA | Type : Text | Checkbox : Array

Lesson 3 : Once that done.

  1. Click the pencil icon.
  2. Table ID is the ID that you create on #5 lesson 1.
  3. Instace ID is the ID in the Context "0x00000001, 0x00000002" etc
