Stuttering issues with new graphics card.

Hey, 

 

So I recently bought a new graphics card Radeon R920X and ever since using this I have been experiencing weird stuttering issues ingame. Every few seconds the game will freeze for about half a second, other than that the game runs smoothly on Ultra settings. The graphics card I had been using previously (Radeon 6870) ran the game fine and so I know it's not a problem with my computer. 

I have tried rolling the drivers back, installing new beta drivers, running the game on minimum settings and nothing has changed. I've also tried running the game on singleplayer, multiplayer, and offline mod and nothing changes so it can't be a network problem either. Wondering if anyone else has experienced an issue like this before and how did they solve it?

Intel i7 950 3.07GHz. 
R9 280X
Win 7 SP1 x64
