Question : Industrial density level and tech level (Solved)

I know this is newbie question, shame that I couldn't figure it out, I've been searching the forums for answers as well as google searches and I didn't get the answers I need.

Ok, here it goes. My city consist of :-

  • Low Wealth Commercials - Currently Low/Medium Density and few High Density.
  • No Medium Wealth and High Wealth Commercials.
  • I have few Colleges around Residential area - Currently Medium and High Density Residential
  • No Medium and High Wealth Residential
  • Low wealth only
  • Vu Tower added near Industrial for Tech Level 3

My question is, which type of industrial should I aim for to satisfy my commercials buildings. The unfulfilled freight orders are staggeringly high, nearly 3000. I do have couples of High Density industrial as well as Medium Density, a little amount of Low Density. Mixed with Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 tech. Only one or two industrial are no tech (will be soon).

(This confuses me)

I noticed that unfulfilled freight orders increases whenever my industry either do upgraded tech level or increased density. I don't know which ever which does that. My Industrial is all mixed now with different tech and density and I would like to satisfy my Low Wealth commercials.

I do like to increase tech level because less workers = less residents = less traffic.

Are Medium Density Industrial for Medium Wealth Commercials and High Density Industrial for High Wealth Commercials? Or is it the tech level?

Please help, thanks in advance.

-Yayie

Update : I can confirmed this, It won't matter the Tech level or High density industry. High density reduce unfulfilled freight orders regardless of tech and wealth level. woot. <---Newb

I believe that this is the case :D I don't see why it wouldn't unless all types of industrial go to all types of commercial.

    Wow, I guess

Exactly what I hope for. I did some digging via searches. The last post

You can change the tax level for the different "wealth" levels of industry as well... but the wealth levels correspond to the tech levels. Low wealth industry is the dirty industry you get with the lowest tech level, while high wealth industry is the industry you get with the highest tech levels.

So in the new game versus the old game...

    $I = I-Dirty
    $$I = I-Manufacturing
    $$$I = I-High Tech

Ok confused... I might demolished all Industry and keep an eye on the numbers.

The way I see it, are there traffic jams in your city especially near your commercial or industry? The reason for this is that every morning 5 to 6 am or 5 to 7 am (not to certain), trucks came from your factory to your commercial. If you have commercial concentrated in a certain area, without proper road access, this could result in late shipment and sometimes no shipment at all. Thus creating what I call backlog demand.

I didn't connect any roads for residents to go pass through commercial to industrial, there's a elevated avenue for that, I did tho connect service roads in between industrial and commercial for my omega trucks as well as factory's trucks and other services. With that said, most of my shoppers stays at home with omega drones sent their goods in front of their doorstep. which is quite nice. And I pull student's traffic away from commercial back near close to residential, placing at least 6 colleagues around the corner as well as other services such as police etc.

Monthly + hourly income is 800k-600k depends on (not enough omega etc)

And buses, lots of bus stops and park and rides near residential for 330k populations. I did tho try to commute them by train, it didn't work well, sometimes 1 out of 10 stops on the last train station. I don't know why. So I remove them only to be used as regional transit.

No traffic jams and I'm quite satisfy with it.

Yes, I use the wind to my advantage. Its Iguana Flats, Rambling Badlands. So the pollution wont came across other cities.
