No nightlights for my simcity 4!

Hello people, im having a big problem here that is the nightlights for BAT in simcity 4

 

The thing is i have downloaded the 2 patches from SC4 devotion and installed it..

 

I actually use a NO-CD patch but i also have the original simcity 4.exe..

 

The nightlights dont work even though it worked in my friends computer which had windows xp sp3 and used the NO-CD patch..

 

i burned two disk images (Disk-1 and Disk-2) to my two cd's (JUST AS A BACKUP COPY)

 

IM USING NO-CD PATCH BECUZ IF I OPEN THE ORIGINAL SIMCITY 4.EXE HAVING MY CD-2 (WHICH I MADE) INTO MY CD ROM DRIVE. THE GAME GET FROZEN AT THE BRIDGE PICTURE WITH CARS AND ALL!!

 

PLEASE I NEED HELP BECAUSE I WANT THOSE NIGHTLIGHTS FOR THE BATS

Sorry, but the rules of this site forbid discussing the No-CD patch. 

 

If you have the CDs for the legitimate game, install it, apply the two published patches and forget the No-CD patch which is illegal.

 

Find some virtual CD software (e.g. Alcohol 120%) make a full geometry virtual CD image of your play disk and mount it.  This eliminates the optical drive.

 

Alternatively, purchase a new copy of the game from one of the vendors selling the game as a digital download.  This version (1,1,641) comes fully patched and runs without any disks in the optical drive.  It has been out for quite a while now.  Try Amazon or GamersGate.
