Sc4 deluxe edition on steam, game won't start

Hello guys,

I just installed Sc4 deluxe edition, I also have a cd for it(only Sc4 not deluxe) and I will get the error:

Missing Executable

I already tried most things from the steam helpdesk but it won't work. Anyone who knows what to do?

You can almost forget steam, but you will have to find out where they installed your game.  I hope you are computer savvy enough to do this:

 

1. Find the game executable.  Use windows explorer for this.
    
2. Right click and make a shortcut to the executable.  Drag the shortcut to your desktop.
    
3. If you use any options, edit the target line of the shortcut to include them.

 

Double click the shortcut to start the game.  If your user structure does not exists, the game should create it now.

Mmh, already worked out what it was, something wasn't valid . So the game didn't started now it works
