Graphical glitches on roads

So I after some long pause I decided to play SC4 again. Made clean installation (digital version from Origin) and noticed this:

It can be seen rather clearly I think, transitions between road tiles in certain conditions (intersection, curves, road ends) are glitched. Straight roads are fine but other than that it looks like on the screenshots. Installation is clean (from Origin so it is already patched), without any mods. Terrain on the screenshots is perfectly flat.

Playing on Win7. My PC specs:

GPU: Gainward GeForce GTX 460 GS-GLH

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2,4 Ghz @2,89 Ghz

RAM: 4GB DDR3

In only one case do I see a problem and that is on the avenue curve.  To make sure we have a level playing field, what is the version number of your game?  To find this use windows explorer (or your file system) to find the file SimCity 4.exe and examine its properties for the version.  If it is less than 1,1,638,0 you are missing an important bug fix.  Choose the right one for your game SKU.  This is a patch and must be run as an exe.  It is not a plugin.

If your game is up to this level, those items should not be a problem.  At this level, it might be wise to load the fixes a plethora of problems with the transportation system in the game.  This link is for Windows.  It is currently not supported on MAC.

The NAM is a huge mod, bigger even than the Rush Hour update.  It has a custom installer and for people who are unfamiliar with it, I suggest using the custom install to install only the network controller while the documentation is examined for other features that may be desired.  The documentation is installed in a separate directory 'NAM Auxiliary Files' under our SimCity 4 user directory.

Your system is fine for this old game which requires much less in which to run.

Tried installing NAM (planned to do it anyway) and indeed it fixed most of the misaligned road tiles - curves and intersections are now perfectly smooth. Only road (and street) ends seems to be still misaligned.

EDIT: Well, and this straight-to-diagonal avenue curve still looks the same like before NAM...

My game version number is 1.1.641.0

Well, you have the very latest of everything if you have NAM 32.  So if you have comments about the road textures I'd suggest that, since we can't fix up anything dependent on the *.exe, that it can only be fixed by the road mavens over at the NAM team.  Perhaps you'd like to post any remaining problems at https://community.simtropolis.com/topic/58484-nam-general-support-thread-v2/  This is the NAM direct support forum.
