Strange issue with complains about "no shops or parks" / "no customers"

Hi,

I am playing in offline mode in a region with 7 cities. All cities are well populated.

With one of my cities I am having a constant problem:

The residents (low wealth) complain about "no shops or parks", and on the other hand the shops sometimes say "no customers".

My medium and high wealth people/shops (same city) do not have such problems. It is my coal mining city.

I have a mix of R and C, and I do have parks around. My traffic is fine, as there are only about 20.000 people.

Sometimes all is going well, and then from one minute to another 10 houses are left, mainly Rs, sometimes Cs, too.

I already bulldozed all houses (R and C), re-designed my roads and zoned again. But after a while the problem reappeared, I think, at about 23.000 people (which then decreased....).

Every house that I bulldoze gets re-build within seconds.

I have no idea, what the root cause may be.

I did nothing different compared to my other cities, that are all working super fine.

Has anybody an idea?

I already searched a lot, but found no really helpful hints.

Tx a lot,

Alex

I've followed cars around by using the follow button after you click on a vehicle, and I've noticed that the Sims only spend about a minute searching for parks and/or shops before going home unsatisfied. My recommendation would be to plop even more parks and zone for even more commercial :) and if that doesn't work, then I don't know the solution.

Yeah, good idea to try following some cars.

I really miss that graphical display of ways sims/delivery etc. take from SimCity4 RushHour :-(

In SimCity2013 you have no clue, who is going from where to there....

Yeah :/ it's a bummer. But you can (somewhat) make up for that by checking out how many people use the mass transit in the city (if you have any) :)
