Anybody have any suggestions on what Tourist Attractions are most profitable for a Tourism Themed City? What Casinos do you favor and why? What Attractions and why? Thanks in advance for any input!

Most of the time, I try to go with landmarks that will function as useful buildings in the city (like the Edificio Copan).

 

But... if you want good tourism, you need a good mass transit system and a lot of commercial.

 

As for your other questions: I don't use the casinos or the attractions, so there's nothing I can say about that

Only good casino: Sleek (W/ all medium tourist capacity addons, nothing else is good)

Best landmarks: Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, (Big Ben) - [by size, attracted tourists, and profit/cost, these are best AFAIK)

 

This works for a city with train connection. Place all your stuff around 1-3 train stops (>1 is already sub-optimal because the buggy train system, but 2 can be OK)

 

If you have the hot air balloon DLC, and an airport, and multiple seaports, then you can add in some high wealth casinos. Otherwise, NO.

 

Place commercial zoning around your tourism district so that you dont need hotel addons for the casinos.
