Trees everywhere mod didn't work?

Ok, I installed the Trees Everywhere mod, for our simcity, extracted it using 7zip, put it in Simcitydata, and launched simcity. No bugs or anything, It just did not work.

I installed a few mods myself. TreeAnywhere works 100%. Did you look at the right position to plop your trees?

The question is, you found the position of the new menuitem the mod places in your park section?

 

EDIT >>> short test of myself back in a few minutes

 

EDIT2 >> mod items are placed in parks section (§§-Nature) - scroll to the right

 

EDIT3 >> there are 2 trees you can place on your sidewalks, and some more you can place everywhere

I have the unzipped file and the RAR file in SimCityData, does that mess anything up?

No that will not cause any problem. I will take a screenshot of what your menu should look like if it works. You place it in origin games\SimCity\SimCityData folder? (Same folder where SimCity_Game.package is located)

I got the idea what your problem is right now

You will have a new folder after unrar the mod...go this folder and take the file beginning with 1a and insert it in the SimCityData folder (1 folder up).

 

edit: looked at it...you will have a data folder inside mod folder that contains the package file...move it up to the correct dir.

No new folder, just a 7Z file.

I think my problem happened in the extraction.

ok then just open your zip file and extract only the package file in it to your data folder

lol...you have a big white window below that nonsense...in it there is the file structure (another dir )

Open that dir like you do in windows. Go down that structure 'til you see your package file...i really can't help more except i will deliver you a screeny now

Do not give up so fast....its really an easy to use tool - you only have to read what you are doing there. If it isn't in your language you can download a language file i belive...if you do not know how to extract you can't use nearly anything you download oO

Truthfully not willing to take the risk of screwing up a whole part of simcity, or this PC. I'm not on my PC, on my mom's. If I was on my PC, probably would have winged it a lot more before trying for help.
