Question on building size in connected cities

Hey guys! I just jumped back into SC4, such an amazing game! I installed the CAM and it's really cool!

I have a question which I never understood about the building size. If I have a city of let's say 200 000 people with some skyscrapers, and then start a new city on a medium title in the region, will I be able to get skyscraper sooner if I zone high density?

I usually like medium titles because connecting cities is easier, but if it limits the size of the building I can get, I'll play on big titles.

Thank you for explaining!

Good to know.  I've never considered that question.

Ok so in theory, even if there is just a few high density zones in my new medium title city, I could possible see skyscrapers emerging from these?

Really cool if that's the case.

Yes, but it is population dependent.  With CAM don't expect much before Stage 8 or higher.
