Monorail crossing Underground Rail

Hi all - I have the latest NAM installed and am having a little problem.

 

I have an underground rail line in my city, running under a road and an avenue. I'm building out my monorail system and need to get the monorail across that UGR line, but I can't find any monorail or UGR puzzle pieces that handle that type of crossing. Any ideas how I can do this??

You can use the ESURE part of the NAM to temporarily convert your underground rail to subway and then back again.  However, freight trains cannot cross this transition.

Well, that stinks. I have freight running on the underground line. Any other options for getting the monorail across?

'Fraid not.  The game has only one graphics layer, and if it is occupied by UGR, a special puzzle piece would have to be designed to accommodate this.  Guess why I don't make much use of UGR?  Your best bet would be to surface your trains for a short haul then dip them down again.  You'll find monorail will cross standard rail.
