Im currently building St. Charles County which is and has been the fastest growing city in Missouri for over 10 years.
    Some Facts

    Largest Cities Pop: Land Area
ST. CHARLES 61,321 20.4 square miles
ST. PETERS 57,381 21.2 square miles
    O'FALLON 69,169 22.5 square miles
LAKE ST. LOUIS 12,893 07.5 square miles
    WENTZVILLE 14,601 14.4 square miles

St. Charles- Holder of the County Seat and very historic town. This is where Lewis & Clark were at right before they set of to explore the west. They have a very large Historic District and are now constucting a new development known as New Town St. Charles. Its like Old Town St. Charles but with knewer older looking houses.

St. Peters- 1980-1990 was ranked one of the fastest growing cities in America and the fastest in the state of Missouri. It grew from a little less than 10,000 all the way to 50,000 people in that time period. It is also the home of the largest shopping center in the county, Mid Rivers Mall.

O'Fallon- Now the fastest growing city in the region, its population as of 2004 is expected to be at a little less than 70,000 people. It is now expected to be the largest city in the county and is filled with commercial all along Highway K the busiest road in the county.

Lake St. Louis- Missed its time to grow. A nice smaller and beautiful city in St. Charles County. They havn't been seeing much growth even though O'Fallon is finally starting to slow its growth pace now.

Wentzville- The city is expected to be the next major growth. In 1990 this city had less then 6,000 people. From 2000-2005 the city grew from 6,000- to over 14,000 people.

Pictures of My Simcity version of the County Will be comming soon.

I would love to see a city journal on St. Charles County. I'm from southwest Missouri, and I drove through St. Charles County last year from the west side to Chesterfield and was amazed at all of the construction.

I can't wait to see how you handle downtown St. Charles.
