I'm from Calgary but I'm going to Toronto for a few days and don't have much time. I'm definitely going to the Royal Ontario Museum again. I've been to CN tower and baseball games before. Does anyone know of good city sites to visit or Toronto city history museum etc. And does anyone know of really good sushi or Korean restaurants/ markets?

Toronto seems like a nice city. Never been there, though. Have fun.

BTW, if you want to post about that there's the leaving/returning thread. That can go there.

If it is still there, Dr. Kim's is a very good Korean restaurant; its in North York.  As for places to visit for culture, try the Art Gallery of Ontario.  It has been refurbished recently and the building alone is worth a walk though.  The collection is also fantastic.

E leaving/returning thread, along with the Moose Factory, the Religion thread (where no one posts), the Closet thread, and something else I've never posted in, is one of the pinned threads in general off topic.

You simply mustn't leave the Art Gallery of Ontario out. I've been to countless art museums across the U.S. and Canada, yet the AGO ranks in my top three museums, for the venue is a work of architectural/sculptural art itself; one which encompasses a myriad of excellent pieces.

That's quite an endorsement for the AGO, and it is true.  If you get a chance, take a tour of the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.  This is the home of the National Ballet and the Canadian Opera Company.  Spectacular.

hmmm...ya my fine arts knowledge is rather sub-par. But I do remember on my last visit to Toronto spending some time looking at the historic pictures of old Toronto in Union Station I liked those.

Well, the AGO will definitely expose you to some really neat stuff.  Don't feel obliged to like all of it, I don't.

I'm also think a tour of the steam whistle brewery in that old rail house. My sister lives in a nice condo downtown by the waterfront, lucky her.
