Faux Bucharest

Hello, fellow CJers. I've been working on and off for quite some time on this region. It's basically a reconstruction of real-life Bucharest. I have taken quite the liberal approach because it's almost impossible to recreate the city centre with the grid system of SC4 and there are no buildings from real-life to put in the game (though there is a bad mod of a particularly horrible building...). I would request a few remarkable ones, but there's a fat chance anyone would attempt to create them.

I'm currently pondering on whether I should include communist blocks of flats outside the centre. On one hand, it's much more realistic, on the other hand, I hate communist blocks of flats. So take my unrealistic and pristine-looking attempt with a grain of salt and be prepared to answer some questions that will allow me to put the finishing touches on this baby. :golly:

The region is made up of medium tiles, with an equal number on the sides, currently 3x3. As I'm developing it, I will add additional tiles concentrically around the current region.

I'll be making a proper presentation and index in the coming weeks. Right now I'm struggling with zoning and demand in order to create a functional region. Not to mention university and driver's license. :lost:

Haha, well my original intention was to maintain a classic city centre with loads of blocks of flats surrounding it. Though I may extend the architecture into the neighbouring tiles if I come to think of it.  :)

    Thanks for the feedback!

P.S.: The blue building is killing me!
