I've noticed my recycling center wasn't sending any plastic to my Trade Depot. Then I peeked at the Reclamation truck garage, ITS EMPTY!! I've also noticed that my Fire Station doesn't respond to fires. I don't see any truck spawning! Is this bug new or is there a fix to this that I don't know???

Bulldozing and rebuilding seems to be the solution to a lot of problems. It's the SimCity equivalent of banging on electronic equipments to make it work!

This game is full of bugs everywhere My freight rail doesn't work I have to delete the freight station for it to work again, but only for a time, then it stops again. I have the same problem with recycling, trucks don't work. But get this I have the same problem with trade port 12 trucks and about two working, my trade just goes dead, can't make any money. Since update 4 everyone of my cities, sorry, town, is loosing money and fast. I think I've had it with this game. If you ask me, this game was never ready to begin with.

Recycling works great! You either have traffic issues or placement issues. I have two cities, one old (pre 4.0), one new (since 4.0) Myself and another player built the arcology, he building TV's and I had zero mining, just recycling and contributed metal and alloy from recycling. So, recycling works! Remember freight trains come around once an hour and do use them. But, use trade depots because they also work. If you have all, use all. One will get stuck in traffic and one won't.

Definition of success; like getting the juice from an orange, just suck and suck until you suck seed.
