Helicopter Simulator

New game is coming, great for fans of flight simulators, but I think not only- Helicopter Simulator: Search & Rescue. Here is more information http://www.hssr.playway.com and also new forum http://www.helicoptersim.com. What do u think?

The good thing about this game is that you could actually get out of the cockpit. I find that annoying in FSX that when you land, what now? You just sit in the cockpit until you decide to fly again. It's the same with all simulators these days. At least, DCS has the ability to eject you out of the plane, but how do you go back inside?

 

Other than that, I don't know why one should buy this over FSX, X-Plane 10 or even DCS. First two allows you to fly the entire planet, while the latter allows you to fly within a small country. 200 sq. km. seems pretty cramped for a simulator, but then again, it's just for helicopters so I guess that's not a problem. Default scenery seems a bit bland. Framerate is a bit choppy. FSX and X-Plane 10 allows you to fly more aircraft, both planes and helicopters, though more focus is on planes than helos.

 

That's all I can say. I may be a bit biased as flying choppers isn't my cup of tea  .
