Bugs in SC4 RH?

Hi,

Some budget windows shows a very visible problem of strings overlapping.
I contacted Aspyr, but they almost say that the Radeon 9600 in a PowerBook G4 FW800 is not powerful enough. I have tried the following resolutions:
800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1600x1200.

My G3 B&W with its Radeon 9200 does have the problem too.

How can I convince them to fix the problem? They don't seem to believe me. They make me feel like I am at fault.

The game runs ok aside from that problem, but I found a problem in the game's logic: for instance, the number of schools or hospital you build is always displayed as zero.

Have you found other problems with SC4: RH ?

An odd problem.

I've had a few odd things happen with SC4 + RH. It's pretty buggy. Sometimes I just have to back everything up and reinstall the game.

As for Aspyr, they're like that. You have two choices:

1) Continue to irritate them until they break down and fix your problem (might take awhile, in my own experience.)

2) Give up.

I also found that one (see link). It is supposed to display the number of power plants, schools, hospitals, etc. Instead the numbers are always zero.

which it seems, they have acknowledged.
I would appreciate it you could chime in with them too.

While being persistant and polite, you can obtain almost anything.


If you have a reproduciable(sp?) bug (without any non-official patches), I would be happy to return the favour.
