Electronics delivery trucks will not leave the factory

Maybe I closed an HQ that needed to be open, or something, but all my other delivery trucks are getting around. But my computer/TV delivery trucks will not leave their garages.

The port is open, space is available, local deliveries are enabled, Computers and TV's are configured for "Export", and other trucks are able to get both in and out of the port, and up and down the streets where my factories are.

I opened a second factory, quit and restarted, closed and reopened the factories, and closed and reopened the individual delivery truck garages, but they just will not pick up their cargo and leave.

What HQs and add-ons do you have, and which ones are closed? You'll probably need the one that enables computers and TV lots at the trade port turned on at the very least.

Have you tried bulldozing the garages for the factory and rebuilding them in edit mode? How about adding a TV/computer lot at a trade depot, and see if the trucks go there or not?

I have the Electronics HQ with the Consumer Electronics upgrade.

I bulldozed the garages and recreated them on the lot. The trucks are inside, but they won't come out!

I wonder if it could be a population thing. I am below 100k population

The Consumer Electronics add-on to the Electronics HQ doesn't add computers/TVs lots to the trade port though, it only unlocks the CE factory the trade depot version of these lots. You need the Commerce Division add-on for the Elec HQ or the Electronic division for the Trade HQ to unlock the trade port version of these lots, so make sure these buildings and add-on are all switched on.

From what I can tell, delivery trucks are pooled throughout the city, so even if your factory doesn't have a delivery truck, delivery trucks from the trade depot/port should go to your factory and pick up goods. The fact that delivery trucks are working for your other factories seems to indicate TVs and computers don't have anywhere to go, which suggests a problem with the trade depot/port.

Try building a new depot with TV/computer lots or add one to your existing depot, and see what happens.

The depot has the TV and computer lots, but maybe they stopped working because I never opened a Commerce HQ.

I'll add a commerce HQ and see if that gets them working again.  I was able to add the storage lots to the port, and I didn't have a commerce HQ - maybe a glitch at the time.

The way it's supposed to work with the depot lots is that they will become available after you build the factory that produces the item. Trucks from the depot or the factory is supposed to ship the produced items to the depot lots, as long as the depot has the "accept local delivery" checkbox checked (doesn't matter if it's export or import or for local use).

You're not supposed to have the TV/computer lots at the trade port until you unlock them via the Commerce Division add-on for the Elec HQ or the Electronic division for the Trade HQ, so if you got them somehow, then that must be a glitch. Not sure how you go about unglitching the glitch, but building the relevant add-ons may be a way (to at least unlock the trade port's lots properly - trade ports, especially via train or ship, is a much better way to export than the trade depots - none of my trade depots in my electronic city actually accepts or exports computers/TV, they only import materials - all exports done via the train at the trade port)

If building the add-ons are too expensive, perhaps try bulldozing the (glitch built) computer/TV lots at the trade port and then bulldozing/rebuilding the trade depot computer/TV lots.
