Driving missions

Hi guys,

 

Just bought myself SC4 Deluxe having abandoned the notion of getting SC5. Love it, but I have one beef. I absolutely hate the driving missions, I haven't played such a tedious mini-game since Windows 3.1. Is there a mod out there that gets rid of the driving garbage? I hate being pestered by the locating icons that wobble about all over the screen. I just want to build a city, not mess around with a tedious, poorly executed keyboard driving minigame.

 

There's such a load of stuff to get to grips with when it comes to addons and so far I can't find a mod that does this. If someone could point me in the right direction I would be most grateful as this is really grinding my gears.

I believe you can turn off the missions in the game settings

I believe you can turn off the missions in the game settings

correction it's not the settings, the option is in the My Sim tab under the u-drive it missions, its the last option there

a little note: driving missions can unlock reward buildings if completed. They are not all useless. But you can unlock the rewards with a cheat
