Money was not transferred

Hello.

I own two cities in my region.

I transferred from one to another $3million, the money was taken from that city as a transaction.

I received a message saying that the money was transferred.

When I loaded the other city after an hour, after 15 min of playing, no money has arrived.

What can I do ? How do I claim my $3 million back?

Maybe try playing a little longer? I found that it takes like 48-72 hours (sim time) or so to transfer funds between cities. When I first traded funds, I thought I lost it, but it eventually was transferred.

It's a crap shoot.  Sometimes it works (eventually), sometimes the money is gone forever.  Good luck

Right now I never transfer money over to other cities. I just keep all of it for the city I am working on. More fun that way anyway.

When you transfer money. Do not immediately go to the city you send money "to" but keep on playing in the city you send money "from" until you get a message you send the money, this can indeed take a while. Then go to the city you send money "to" and wait till you see the message you have received the money or a little simeleon thingie is coming from the town hall, again this can take a while. You will see it at the balance anyways. The money is actually being brought by a car. (dodgie huh? Must be a tax thingie that it's brought by car...lol).

I just want to confirm that it can take 1-2 hours real time for the money  to arrive. Most of the time it's just 1-2 minutes though

After more than half a day passed - still nothing arrived to the second city.

AND YES, I've got the message that confirmed that the money was delivered.
