No Launch

Hey everyone, I searched around and didn't see anyone else having this problem. The game had been working fine for me till yesterday when that free game download became available. When I click on the game to play it I get directed to the free game offer instead of the game. Heres the thing, when I close that window shouldn't the game launch? Instead nothing happens. I get that window and the game won't launch even after clikcing play a few times. Any ideas? Note I have already tried updating and repairing the installation, neither of which did anything.

My won't launch now either, it just updates, then restarts (though, not completely, I still have to run it again), then goes through the update and restarts again.  It's stuck.  I can't even load the game now.  Screw EA.
