It really made me think of how high expectations i had on simcity.

I really wanted to be able to have full controle over my creativity and not only be able to build citys but also form the landscape around them.

Create regions with plots/areas that i decided the size and shape on for my online friends to play on.

Connect regions with other regions with big harbors, airports etc.

Build in different landscapes with different weathers

But so far i have not had what i expected.

I really hope EA have plans on a expansion for sim city.

But dont think i dont enjoy the game still.

I just had different expectations and the link above made me really think about them.

I think the game today is really fun and so far i have pretty much only played alone. I hope i will have even more fun when i start playing with others and when i learn more about the game.

No i had nothing to ask, just wanted to vent my thoughts and share the link

Essentially you fell for the marketing. That is understandable, completely. The marketing was and remains designed to accomplish exactly this, and to use that as part of instrumentation for further sales. And it does not necessarily stand in the way of enjoying the game "as is", and certainly not as it may or may not become.

It is always a case of deciding for yourself. Humans are individuals. It is only natural, and it is fine.

Perhaps an interest in these regards.

Totally agree with you. It's been 10 years of new tech since the last sim city, and all I see really is better graphics, and online playing. The game is fun to play for me still, but I don't see it lasting for to long if stuff isn't added for content. Very disappointed overall.
