Playing the game

So it looks like most of the problems with the servers have been ironed out. I've just spent the last four hours playing SC 2013 and that same feeling I had in the beta continued to burn inside of me. Maybe I've not been looking hard enough but I could barely see any bugs with the pathfinding, those infamous garbage trucks (which in my game were randomly going around the city but not focusing on anyone particular spot) or any instances of sims with no road sense!

 

Though sometimes with a far enough distance the trees would become blobs on the ground or sometimes really small pieces of roads (only a couple of them at most) would turn into ugly blown blotches- something which occurred in the 2nd beta, and STILL has not been addressed!

 

It takes time building a city and then developing it, the lack of space is a little annoying but the camera angles are fab and in this game there's more sense of a city evolving, albeit in a small area. At any rate the dreaded 'just one more turn/minute' effect consumed me and the symptoms are beginning already, starting with a reluctance to sleep...
