regional departments

I have two cities in one region.  the first has three depts.  the second has the opposite three depts.  My question is this.  Can my first city take advantage of the depts from the second city and vice versa?  Because as of right now i'm not getting the advantage of having the depts being used in the opposite city.

Bug with the servers, sometimes city hall upgrades are shared, other times they won't share the unlocks.

This, along with services between cities,  is the main reason I am not playing until these bugs are sorted out.

 

I have a industrial city focusing on metals which I gave the utility department. My other city is a education and high tech city and it was my plan to build a water treatment plant and a recycling center in that city but it will not allow me to.

These features are temporarily removed, they will be back (well....) when they get the servers straight

Thanx guys....  In the meanwhile My cities are booming and will have to go on pause when i can't go any further because it keeps causing trouble.    Hey if anyone wants to come join an awesome region check out Coruscant one east 2.  There's plenty of space to start up on.

The new servers "have more powerful hardware" and inter city stuff works fine on them. If you aren't too advanced I'd recommend switching to the new servers or wait till they upgrade the old servers.
