New Member, can I get a few pointers?

I'm new to Simtrapolis (so please ignore my ignorance if I posted in the wrong area )

 

I was wondering if I could get a few pointers of what I need to know about downloading content as I found the ''How to install...'' section pretty confusing and wasn't sure how relevant it was to what I'm here for. I only want to download simple stuff like textures, buildings and vehicles as such. I'm not really interested in making my own content (not yet anyway)

 

Any tips would be greatly appreciated
