SimCity will not install

For some reason i can download the game through origin. It then seems to install the game. Next, nothing happens. I go back to "my games" in origin and then click install again. The same thing happens over and over. I only go from downloading to installing. Never prompted to update. This is weird. I cant get the game to install. Any ideas?

Im able to download fine on my laptop, but on my desktop it doesnt work. As soon as the install is done, the icon should show up on the desktop, but it isnt doing that on my desktop for some reason.

Did you resolve the problem, because the same is happening to me, I have windows Vista.   EA Game support can not help can any one help

exit Origin (right click Origin in the icons at lower right by the clock)

 

then go into your list of program, right click Origin and Run As Administrator, then try installing again...
