how does one stream?

    I see some people having streaming, how do you do that.  Where do you go, what program what website?

    If you are talking about streaming video, there are plenty of websites for that. Some websites are specialised for streaming certain kinds of content. I've noticed that a lot of people stream video game footage through twitch.tv, and you can find a lot of other things on websites like livestream.com

     

    These sites will usually provide you with the software required to stream to those sites.

    A Google search for 'streaming video' should find you all the sites you never wanted.  My browser supports streaming.  Firefox 19.0.
