You mean use the php bullition board. Well we could but it isen't easy just to switch from one forum type to another. You would at least have to wait until Simtropolis 5.0 for that sort of change. Anyway I don't mind idealbb.

Well, You can probably try your best to recreate it on your own, however as Compromise said, they are two different types of forum software, so an exact duplication would be impossible.

Correct... ST is on a forum software written primarily in ASP. Now, you could recreate it by right-clicking the page while in your browser and selecting View Source. You can get color hex codes there. You can also right click the buttons and save the little GIFs too. However, porting this to phpBB would be totally time consuming.

Plus, if I was going to do that, I'd wait till phpBB 3.0 so I don't have to do it all over again.

If you mean can Simtropolis switch to phpBB as it's forum software?, the answer is no. Not only converting is messy, the server ST is on uses Coldfusion and ASP. phpBB uses PHP. Also, phpBB is one of the worst BB programs I've seen, no one sane will allow it to be used on a serious site.

But if you mean Can I port ST's style to phpBB, you must ask Dirk first, as Simtropolis is his creation, and copying it without permission is stealing.
