Hey guys!!

It's been a while since I have problems with the menu buttons. I have 10 gigs in my plugin folder so I have to wait minutes to open each time the menu monuments or parks. Anyone know any mod that would open the menu without having to close?

Thank you.

Well, every technology has its limitations, and 10 gigs of plugins is certainly a whopping amount, if not outright excessive. Your experience is a good case in point.

However, the DAMN tool might prove helpful to you.

In certain DLC, some creators include both a landmark version(LM/plop in the filename) and a growable version of RCI-buildings in the Zip-folder. You could delete the LM/PLOP files to save space in the Rewards/Landmark menu.

Excuse me, but what on earth are you doing with 10GB of Plugins? Did you prune the junk out of there? There should only the the following file types in Plugins:

.SC4LOT

.SC4DESC

.SC4MODEL

.DAT

.DLL

No other files should be present. All the rest are documentation and should be kept elsewhere.

Also, you should investigate the use of DATpacker.

Well, you learn something new every day. I don't use DAMN because it doesn't run on Linux/wine.
