Unwanted palm trees when using street addon mod

Hey Peeps,

I am getting palm trees on my streets when using the "Street Addon Mod". I do have the "No Palms" mod which does eliminate all the palms except on these roads. Anyone have any ideas?

I used to get them also, but then I did a complete rework of my mods and came up with this: (). Read through it carefully because it doesn't play together well with some other mods but it takes care of your exact issue. If what you're using is NAM with the additional 'Street Addon Mod' you should be okay. There is also another useful addition to that mod located over on SC4Devotion. You must be registered to obtain it but it will permanently take care of any and all palms throughout your entire city: SFBT Tree Replacement Mod (https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1901). Both of these together will graciously make sure your city becomes a 'palm free zone' unless you plop down some mayor mode ploppables.

Don't forget that in addition to registering for SC4Devotion you must also register on the LEX. Bit of a nuisance, but that's the way they set it up.

Thanks for the feedback. Does anyone know if the "street addon mod" automatically adds palms along the roads/streets around medium to high wealth lots? I don't remember noticing these before. I do not see trees along the roads in any of the screen shots. I ask because ideally I would like to be able to lay some roads that will have no trees along the sides. I have the "street side addon mod" that adds the trees and cars along the maxis roads (which I like) but was hoping to be able to use the "Street Addon Mod" roads without the "clutter" of the trees and props. Does that make any sense....

SAM is for streets, and I don't recall any palm trees, but I've been ignoring them for so long, I may not have noticed. My game is currently disabled due to an O/S glitch or I could check.
